Agile provides a formalized framework that enables you to do work that requires both technical expertise and creative skills. Whilst this is a process, think less of Business Process Management than of a structured approach that helps people do what they do best. The Agile manifesto states “individuals and interactions over processes and tools”—this does not imply there is no process, but it clarifies that the collaboration between the people is more important than sticking to a strict sequence of events.
